Since early childhood, people have always accused me of having an over-active imagination. My father was a writer and I inherited his fabulous dramatic mind - and I always compared him to my favorite author, J.R.R. Tolkien. 

 

It all began with a nightmare I had in Germany, of a Jade Cabochon Necklace around the neck of a young girl whose death was suppressed, therefore, Nightmare+Jade+death = the Jade Trilogy Mystery Series. As an homage to my two favorite writers, the Entlings mirror Tolkien's heroes and heroines with my father's Memoirs inter-laced in the series.

 

The Quest begins in Book 1 as Lia Mekas accepts her Frodo role assisted by her counselor friend - Galadriel figure - Eva Dague, and the Hobbits - Norma and Rita. The chase pervades Books 2 and 3 - as the fight with evil continues.
